Opening Thoughts
The purpose of this e-letter is two-fold. First I would like to share information on training/racing techniques that I have developed in my fifteen years of racing/coaching. If you think there is something valuable in here that others could use, please pass it on. If there is something that you would like to see in here, send me an email. I have developed a large network of great resources and I if I don't have the answer, I will know someone who does. Secondly, this e-letter will be my personal space to brag about the athletes I coach and give them the praise they deserve--after all--it's the athlete that does the hard work.
Train Smart,
Coach Mike

Coaching for 2006
This is usually the busiest time
of the year for D3 Multisport.
Starting in early August, the
emails roll, with inquiries about
coaching slots for 2006. With
our full menu of services, we
can offer athletes just about
everything they need. This year
we have added a run-specific
coach, Jen Edwards, a
nutritionist in Colleen Cooke,
and have added the Boulder
Center for Sports Medicine as
one of our partners. BCSM has
state of the art equipment and
are able to test lactate
threshold, VO2 Max, body fat,
bone density, and even have
fuel testing. They provide bike
fits and supplemental O2
workout capability as well.
If you are looking for a coach
for 2006, check out the article
“How to choose a Coach” with
helpful hints. Just as reminder
that all D3 Multisport, Inc.
Coaches are USA Triathlon
Certified and have raced at a
high level, so they know what
it takes to improve. Like we say
around the office, “We’ve
already made those silly
mistakes in training and racing,
and our goal is make sure you
don’t make the same ones.”
Make 2006 your best season
and get on board with the best
coaches in the industry – learn
how to train smart, race faster,
and get the most of your
training time! If need more
