Creating Baseline Tests for the 2007 Season

When I start to get cabin fever in the winter I think of warm weather, blue skies, the smell of sun block, and freedom from indoor bicycle trainer rides. With race season still a few months away, and with a recent return to serious training, now would be a good time to set some training benchmarks for 2007. Establishing benchmarks allows you to see progress, evaluate plateaus and even set a baseline for next winter.
