Issue 093 - May 2010

Dear Athlete,

Hopefully May has brought sun and warmth to your training grounds. The season is really starting to shape up and many athletes are racing their first races of the season. If you haven’t raced already, chances are you have something coming soon!

This issue of the D3 Newsletter has a lot of racing in it too. Coach Sundy writes about staying on track through the season and Coach Ali tells us how hard it is for coaches to coach themselves. We also interview a member of the National Champion C.U. Tri Team to see how it is to be on the team and the sacrifices they make. The Training Plan of the Month is a swim focus block that will make you faster! Speaking of being faster, our Sponsor of the Month, TriSports.com has all the gear you need to achieve a new P.R. in 2010. We also have a long list of athlete results. With race season upon us we will now start putting out our athlete results on a weekly basis.

So read on, get motivated and get out there!

Happy Training,
Mike Ricci
USAT Level III Coach
