Congrats to Honu Half Ironman Finishers: Frank Harney, Ida Jonsen, Eric Jonsen, Julia Purrington (5th AG), Chris Purrington, Sarah Petre-Mears (40 minute PR!) and Melanie Ricci (9 months after giving birth to Hope Ricci). Brandon Sawyer set a new PR of 48:26 at the Bolder Boulder!
Bob Trautwine – 4th AG at the VT Sun Triathlon
Martina Young – ½ IM Rock and Roll 3rd AG
Christophe Chouteau – finished very strong at the Geneva Triathlon in Switzerland
Bob Valley had a strong finish in his first ever duathlon at Barking Dog, and got some valuable race experience at his first Surf 'n Turf race, finishing with a strong run. Bob also completed his first triathlon at the 5430 Sprint.
Coach Kevin K used a strong run to finish 2nd AG at the 5430 Sprint against a stacked field.
Kathleen Steffe started the season strong with a dominating win at the 5430 Series in the 40-44 AG. Kathleen had the fastest swim overall for females and won her AG by over 5 minutes.
Coach Amy Kuitse won the Johan’s Tri Fest in IN.

D3 Multisport, Inc. is proud to announce the addition of Amy Kuitse for the 2006 season. Amy is a married mom of two athletic girls. She is an Occupational Therapist and has coached high school soccer, cross country and has helped others with their triathlon pursuits. This past November, Amy qualified for Ironman Hawaii in her first attempt. She is coached by Erik Cagnina, and we are looking forward to Amy joining us this season at D3 Multisport. Amy will be focusing on beginner triathletes for the 2006 season. Welcome aboard Amy!
