D3 MULTISPORT TEAMS UP WITH MAX MUSCLE SPORTS NUTRITION OF BOULDER

Press Release
December 29, 2011

D3 Multisport, Inc.
Max Muscle Boulder, Inc.
For Immediate Release

D3 Multi Sport, Inc. and MaxMuscle, Inc. of Boulder, Colorado jointly announce a new offering to the multi-sport industry: ‘D3 to the MAX’; a customized training and nutrition plan in one! Available on a quarterly basis, this new plan is unique in the triathlon market in that it incorporates all facets of an athlete’s training and racing and their fueling into one comprehensive offering! The training plans are written by Mike Ricci, Head Coach of both D3 Multi-Sport and the University of Colorado National Champion Triathlon Team. Nutrition plans and consultation are provided by Craig David, a certified Nutritionist and Director of Max Muscle Boulder.

Through ‘D3 to the MAX’ Mike and Craig take into account an athlete’s goal race(s), their unique schedule and associated nutritional needs. An appropriate quarterly plan for that distance race is developed to meet the specific needs of the individual. The client then receives a training and nutrition plan customized just for them! Coaches are available on a scheduled basis to assess how the plan is working and to make any necessary adjustments.
Mike Ricci, a USAT Level 3 coach, notes that “Multi-sport athletes tend to be highly structured individuals. Having a detailed plan that takes into account their particular lifestyle is a key component to a successful season of training and racing.” Having coached endurance athletes for over 20 years, Mike adds that partnering with Craig was a logical next step. “Every athlete knows that sound nutrition is an integral aspect of achieving their goals. Having someone with Craig’s expertise dial it in is an incredible advantage!”
Craig, a multi-sport athlete himself says that for his clients “the challenge is either that they don’t know where to start or they haven’t aren’t able to afford to commit to a 12-month program. They know that they do not want a generic program, and they want access to a coach.” He adds that this new pairing offers clients the best of both worlds. “They get the detailed nutrition plan that they’re looking for, along with a custom written plan for their training and racing. It’s the complete customized package at an affordable price point”.
